In short: we keep only the email address you give us, to tell you about MotionComic. We keep it for up to 12 months, we never sell it, and you can leave the list at any time.
Who is responsible
MotionComic (motioncomic.app) is run by Ryszard Gozdur, United Kingdom, who is the controller of your personal data. Contact: [email protected].
What we collect
- Your email address.
- Which form you used (for example the top of the page or the Composer page), the site language (English or Polish), the date and time of signing up, and the version of the consent text you agreed to.
- To stop automated abuse, the form's server briefly uses your IP address. We do not store the IP address itself: only a one-way coded value, which expires after about 20 minutes.
The site uses no analytics or advertising cookies. It remembers your language choice in your own browser (local storage).
Why, and on what legal basis
- Emails about MotionComic: Early Access, alpha releases and the launch, including a crowdfunding campaign (for example on Kickstarter). Legal basis: your consent. You can withdraw it at any time.
- Protecting the form from abuse (the short-lived coded value above). Legal basis: our legitimate interest in keeping the list free of spam.
How long we keep it
Up to 12 months from the day you sign up, then it is deleted. If you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it, we do so sooner.
Who else handles it
- Cloudflare hosts this website and the database with the list.
- When we send an announcement, we use an email delivery service, which receives the addresses only to send that email.
- itch.io sells and delivers the Composer. If you buy or download it there, itch.io processes your payment and account details under its own privacy policy; we see only the order information itch.io gives to sellers, and use it only to support your purchase.
These providers act on our instructions. Their servers may be outside the UK; they use the legal safeguards required for such transfers. We never sell or share your address for anyone else's marketing.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, object to its use, or withdraw your consent. Write to [email protected]. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
Leaving the list
Every email from us has an unsubscribe link. You can also write to [email protected] with the subject “Unsubscribe”, and we will delete your address.
Changes
If this notice changes, we will update the date above. We will not use your address for anything new without asking you first.

Strona nie używa ciasteczek analitycznych ani reklamowych. Wybrany język zapamiętuje w Twojej przeglądarce (local storage).
Po co i na jakiej podstawie
- E-maile o MotionComic: Early Access, wersje alfa i premiera, w tym kampania crowdfundingowa (np. na Kickstarterze). Podstawa: Twoja zgoda. Możesz ją wycofać w każdej chwili.
- Ochrona formularza przed nadużyciami (krótko przechowywana zakodowana wartość opisana wyżej). Podstawa: nasz prawnie uzasadniony interes w utrzymaniu listy bez spamu.
Jak długo
Najdłużej 12 miesięcy od dnia zapisu, potem adres jest usuwany. Jeśli się wypiszesz albo poprosisz o usunięcie, zrobimy to wcześniej.
Kto jeszcze ma dostęp
- Cloudflare utrzymuje tę stronę i bazę danych z listą.
- Wysyłając ogłoszenie, korzystamy z usługi wysyłki e-maili, która dostaje adresy wyłącznie po to, żeby tę wiadomość wysłać.
- itch.io sprzedaje i dostarcza Composera. Jeśli kupujesz albo pobierasz go tam, itch.io przetwarza płatność i dane konta według własnej polityki prywatności; my widzimy tylko informacje o zamówieniu, które itch.io przekazuje sprzedawcom, i używamy ich wyłącznie do obsługi Twojego zakupu.
Ci dostawcy działają na nasze polecenie. Ich serwery mogą znajdować się poza Wielką Brytanią; stosują wymagane prawem zabezpieczenia takich transferów. Nigdy nie sprzedajemy ani nie udostępniamy Twojego adresu do cudzego marketingu.
Twoje prawa
Możesz poprosić o kopię swoich danych, ich poprawienie lub usunięcie, sprzeciwić się ich wykorzystaniu albo wycofać zgodę. Napisz na [email protected].
